AlpacaFest West 5th Annual Herdsire Service Auction

We have a fabulous line up of award winning herdsires from black to white. We are honored to offer a diverse group of bloodlines to enhance your breeding program. These males are made available through the generous donation of their owners. All proceeds benefit AlpacaFest West and support our show but the rewards of a breeding to any of these choice males is all yours! Information about these males will be on display from Friday, September 9 until the close of auction on Sunday. Absentee bidding is available and we accept check, cash, and credit card payments. Herdsire bidding will start closing Sunday November 11 at 11:00 AM and conclude by 1:00 PM of the same day. If you are interested in bidding but are unable to attend please complete the Absentee Bidding Form and send it to AlpacaFest West c/o Phil Levy 28546 N. Conquistador has one of the most unique true black fleeces with the highest degrees of luster and incredibly long stapled soft handling fleeces we have seen in JET BLACK fleece.
His grid sample histogram (A combination of blanket, shoulder and hip) came in at 19.9, 4.3, 21.6, 2.7

Greystone is a beautiful !Rose GREY! full peruvian suri herdsire. Greystone has very uniform, rose grey color throughout, with high luster and excellent independent twisted locks. Greystone is a large, well conformed male with a very typey head. His accomplishments in the show ring are second to none. They include two time AAA Futurity Color Champion, AOBA and AWE Color Champion and first place IAO. His crias are outstanding and selling for big prices at auction! 30K at 2007 Futurity and 40K at 2007 AOBA! Very impressive!!

Jack has four generations of true black on Dad’s side and Snowmass Peruvian Drambuie on Mom’s side. How often do you see a 16.8 micron fleece in a black, even at 1 year of age? This super fine, non-fading true black male has a micron of 22 at three years of age. He’s very dense and shows well defined crimp and incredible luster. His conformation is strong.
